Direct Mail

A SPEC direct mail card for consumers in close proximity to the Pure Impact Fitness Gym - The gym is appealing to busy 22-38 year olds who are serious about exercising.

The goal of the mail piece is to get the consumer into the gym for a free 3 day trial membership. Once they see the advantages of this gym, they will sign up for a paid membership. The challenge is to get the card to stand out from the rest of their promotional mail. The target audience is young adults, mostly men.

Working with a designer, we used bright colours and text to catch the readers’ attention. We used fitness lingo in order to appeal to the viewers’ desires and goals. The use of bullet points makes the text easy to skim so the reader understands the main points while shuffling through their mail.
